A group of protesters on Tuesday stormed the Abuja office of human rights group, Amnesty International, demanding that they leave Nigeria.
The protesters who arrived in large numbers at the office at about 12 pm, barricaded the road leading to the entrance, preventing moving into and exit from the premises.
They accused the organisation of aiding insecurity in Nigeria and consequently, destabilising the country.
One of their placards read: “You are the wheel behind Boko Haram, IMN, IPOB and ISWAP”.
“Amnesty International bury your head in shame..Leave now or we will force you to leave,” another read.
Amnesty International is yet to react to the situation but they took to Twitter to share photos of the protest.
