This week, Nigerians marked the second anniversary of the abduction of more than 100 girls from Dapchi, a village in Yobe state. Although most of the girls have been returned, Leah Sharibu, now 16-years-old, still remains in the grip of the insurgents who carried out the operation.

Also, the world continues to grapple with COVID-19, a virus that first emanated from Wuhan, China, and the Nigerian government is taking measures to protect the country.
