A drama played out on Tuesday as lawmakers stormed the legislative chamber of the Oyo State House of Assembly clad in Leopard skin-like attires.

One could easily tell the rationale behind the mode of dressing of the lawmakers which was to pass the Amotekun Bill.

The Speaker of House, Adebo Ogundoyin, was not left out of the scene as the lawmakers attended the plenary in the unusual dress mode with various styles.

The clerk of the House, as well as other staff of the Legislative Chamber, were also seen in their Amotekun outfit.

Amid the hilarious reactions to the development, the lawmakers deliberated and unanimously approved the bill, just like their colleagues in other states in the South West.

Ogundoyin was optimistic that the new bill would help stem the tide of banditry, kidnapping, armed robbery and other criminal acts in Oyo State, and the entire region in general.
