The immediate past Head of Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, has pleaded not guilty to fraud allegations brought against her.
Mrs. Oyo-Ita alongside eight others on Monday pleaded not guilty to an 18-count charge of fraud.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is arraigning her over an N3bn alleged scam.
Oyo-Ita who is arraigned before Justice Taiwo Taiwo is also being investigated over alleged abuse of duty tour allowance, money laundering and alleged theft of government funds.
Her lawyer, Paul Erokoro (SAN) says he is applying for bail on behalf of his client who has been on administrative bail of the EFCC.
Lawyers to the other defendants are also making the same application.
Trial of the case has been fixed for 27th, 28th of May, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June for day to day trial.
