Speaking to Channels Television, Head of the Fumigation Team and member of the State Action Committee on COVID 19, Mr. Edward Amali said the exercise will last for a whole week.
“The State Action Committee is determined on the fumigation exercise in order to get rid of COVID-19 wherever it might be and spare the state from recording another positive case of the virus.
“Hospitals, the four major markets, parks and even streets where the virus may be suspected to be hanging would equally be fumigated, because of Governor Samuel Ortom and his Deputy, Engr. Benson Abounu, who is Chairman of the Action Committee were determined to eradicate the virus from the state.
The exercise would take up to a week to get all the markets and other places fumigated,” he said.
He also assured residents of the state that funds have been made available for the comprehensive exercise by the state government.
