Osun State government has discharged the index case of Coronavirus in the state.
The patient was discharged after recovering following treatment at the Isolation centre at Asubiaro Special Hospital in Osogbo, the state capital.
The State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, announced this on Sunday at a press briefing in Osogbo.

He added that 110 Ivory Coast returnees who were initially isolated over suspicion of COVID-19 have also been released.
The governor said the returnees who tested positive are “undergoing adequate and proper treatment at our care centre and are all stable,” and expressed the hope “that they will soon recover safely from the virus and rejoin their families”.
Oyetola, therefore called for cooperation of people in the fight against the COVID-19 virus also appealed for Federal Government’s help.
He also commended health workers, and security operatives for their efforts, and appreciated residents for complying with the stay at home directive.
