The Ogun State Government on Tuesday relaxed the lockdown order in the state to allow residents to restock their basic needs within a period of six hours.
This window of opportunity was between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm when residents were expected to procure basic amenities they needed to ensure they stay safe at home.
In Abeokuta, the state capital, residents were seen as early as 7:00am on the streets trooping to the markets.
Huge vehicular movement was also witnessed as markets and motor parks that have been deserted in the last four days received full swing of activities.
As of 09:30pm on April 6, there are 238 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
