The Channels Media Group has donated food items to the Lagos State Government as its contribution to support efforts at cushioning the effect of the coronavirus on poor and vulnerable residents.
The food items donated include 100 bags of 50 kilograms of rice, 300 bags of 25 kilograms of rice, 250 cartons of noodles, 250 cartons of
spaghetti and 75 cartons of vegetable oil.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry Of Information, Mr Olusina Thorpe who received the gift on behalf of the state government,
commended the philanthropic gesture of the news broadcast organisation.
He also assured the management of Channels Media Group of judicious distribution of the items to the target population.
