Some gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a resident doctor at the Central Hospital in Ojobo, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
The doctor, identified as Dr. Wisdom Iboyitete, was reportedly kidnapped on Sunday night at about 11pm.
Confirming the incident, the Delta State police public relations officer – Onome Onovwakpoyeya said the hoodlums disguised as patients seeking medical attention
He was eventually whisked away to an unknown destination through a nearby river in the community
As of the time of filing this report, the kidnappers were yet to establish contact with the doctor’s family or residents of the community.
