Despite the suspension of a nationwide industrial action by the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), members of the union at the Ondo State University of Medical Sciences have embarked on an indefinite strike.
The resident doctors lament that they are being forced to down tools by the government’s failure to pay attention to their demands.
Their colleagues in the National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners in the Ondo State Government hospitals are also embarking on an indefinite strike as from tomorrow.
