Inter-state travelling has resumed across the country following the ease of restriction by the Federal Government.
Many travellers who were locked down in various states outside their place of residence due to the coronavirus outbreak have started returning to their destinations.
The Chairman, Branch III Long Journey, Utako, Moto park, Abuja, Taiwo Osobu, while speaking with Channels Television with excitement said, “During the lockdown everywhere was dry, there was nothing to feed our families.”
He further stated that they are complying with the FG and NCDC directives regarding the number of passengers to convey per trip.
He also added that the bus is presently carrying nine passengers instead of 14 passengers per trip which however resulted in an additional N2, 000 on the previous N6, 000 per passengers.
A passenger plying the Kano-Abuja route who identified herself as Amina Musa said she felt delighted that the ban was lifted but expressed concern over the consistency in the guidelines laid down for the motor park.
