The Lagos State Judiciary has released its 2020 posting for judges of the State High Court.
The postings take immediate effect.
The judges of the court will, however, proceed on their annual vacation from Monday, the 17th of August to Friday the 11th of Sept, 2020.
The list and circular of the new postings which was signed by the Chief Judge of the State, Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba contains the present posting of judges, their new postings as well as the divisions the judges are assigned to.
It also contains the postings for the 8 new judges of the court who were sworn-in on May 12, 2020.
The High Court of Lagos has a total of 61 judges.
According to the Circular, all judges are to move to their new postings, with all their part-heard matters, that is, trials, rulings & judgments which have commenced but are yet to be concluded.
