“Today, there are many challenges with regards to security based on what is happening online. So with the Computer Emergency Response and Readiness Team, we would be able to be the watchdog of the Federal Government of Nigeria, monitor potential cybercrime attacks on our country, come up with policies and strategies to see how we can prevent our country from attacks or at least reduce it to the minimum we can.

“Secondly is Digital Media Studio which is another project which is also in alignment with the three key priorities areas of President Muhammadu Buhari and also the virtual conference.

“Part of the programme and projects of this administration that we plan to achieve through digitisation is to ensure that these three key priority areas are well established to the best of our ability,” he said.

The Minister said the project would go a long way in complimenting the efforts of the administration in tackling the high wave of insecurity in the country and put the economy on a better footing.
