Nigeria’s sole representative at the Ladies European Tour in the Czech Republic, Georgia Oboh has finished 6th at the Amundi Ladies Challenge in the Prague City golf club on the Ladies European Tour Access Series which is the second event for the year 2020.

Oboh made the top ten with a score of 69/73/72 to finish the tournament at 1 under par at the 3-day competition.

Despite lack of adequate funding, the 19-year old is encouraged by the result and gave glory to God, friends and family that have continued to support her.

She also credited her fine performance to the recent swing changes from her coach and dad Godfrey Oboh.

She added, “I’m feeling more comfortable with the changes.”

The tournament was the second of the Ladies European Tour Access Series events post Covid-19 lockdown.

Next week, the tour now moves to Lavaux in Switzerland for another round of action.
