The Nasarawa State Commissioner of Information, Culture, and Tourism Dogo Shammah has gone into isolation.
This comes after the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Janet Angbazo tested positive for the coronavirus.
The commissioner was ordered by the acting governor of the state and chairman, COVID-19 Task Force Emmanuel Akabe to go into isolation for seven days.
The development is said to have sparked tension in the ministry and staff are currently undergoing tests.
