Meanwhile, the state government has mourned the former Minister.

Visiting the Makurdi residence of the ex-Minister, the Deputy Governor, Benson Abounu, expressed the condolence of Governor Samuel Ortom, the government and people of the state to the late Agada family.

He described Agada’s death as a colossal loss to the state and the entire country, adding that the professor was an institution.

While asking the family to bear the loss with calmness, the deputy-governor prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul.

Responding, a family member, Aboyi Agada thanked the state government for identifying with them at their moment of grief.

Noting that the family is devastated, Aboyi said there is nothing any person could do as it was the act of God.
