NSCDC Discover Vandalism Activities Along Abia, Rivers State Boundary

 

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River State Command, has paraded two suspected child traffickers alongside underage children in Calabar.

The suspects were heading to Ogun state, southwest Nigeria.

Speaking with Channels Television at the Defence Headquarters in Calabar, the State’s Commandant, Majekodunmi Abidemi, explained that the suspects were nabbed by the eagle-eyed officers who were looking out for them following a close trial of people, agents involved in child trafficking in Cross River State.

While the search for the master minder of the trafficking who is still at large continues, the victims would be handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons for further investigations.
