Former Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako has expressed worry over the security challenges facing the country, urging for all hands to be on deck in order to overcome this menace.

The former Governor made this comment during the revalidation and registration of his membership of the All Progressives Party (APC) at his electoral ward in the Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of Adamawa.

The mammoth crowd present to have a glimpse of the former Adamawa State Governor broke very directives and measures of the COVID-19 protocol and stormed the venue of the registration exercise making it almost impossible for the exercise.

Speaking shortly after the event, the former governor expressed optimism that the party would reclaim Adamawa state in the 2023 governorship poll and the country at large.

According to the retired Naval Admiral, the security situation in the country is terrible and there is a need for the country to pray for divine intervention.

He assured that the APC is stronger today than in the past and therefore urged party faithful and those wishing to join the party to avail themselves with the opportunity to register and revalidate their membership.
