The students and staff of the National Institute of Construction Technology Uromi have staged separate protests at Uromi Esan northeast Local Govt Area of Edo State over the kidnap of a lecturer and a student.
Gunmen suspected to be bandits on Wednesday kidnapped the lecturer and student within the school premises.
They barricaded some roads asking the security agencies to step up efforts to ensure the safe release or rescue of the victims/
The protesting students are also insisting that more security should be provided in the school to guarantee the safety of staff and students at the school.
