The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari has said that the lingering security challenges facing the northwestern and northeastern states can be addressed if the governors of those regions join hands together to fight it.

The governor stated this at the Zamfara State House of Assembly during the two years anniversary of Bello Matawalle’s Administration.

Governor Aminu Masari said no state can fight insecurity alone but with the strong collaboration of Kaduna, Katsina, Niger, Zamfara, and other affected states they can stem the culprits that are destroying the people, lands, and their culture.

Masari lamented that banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling, killing, and maiming are not the identities of the citizens of the Northern region.

He wants the citizens to see the fight against insecurity as everyone’s responsibility hence the need for all hands to be on deck to ensure Nigeria wins the war against insecurity to save Nigeria, especially the Northern region that is on red alert.
