Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma on Wednesday reacted to the recent IPOB sit-at-home order, maintaining that the secessionist group has no influence on indigenes of the state.

The governor told reporters after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House that only his government can give an order mandating people to stay away from their work or businesses and expect obedience, the reason why normal activities have continued unabated in the state.

He said Imo State has become peaceful to the point that football matches now take place at night without fear,

He further advised Nigerians not to take laws into their hands even when aggrieved and protect the sanctity of the country.
