Nigeria has recorded 299 new cases of COVID-19 infections with three new deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in an update on Wednesday night.
According to the agency, the new cases were recorded in 15 states with Lagos maintaining the highest figures, (201) followed by Ondo with 110 and 74 in Rivers.
Others are Edo (63), FCT (58), Oyo (31), Kaduna (15), Bayelsa (11), Cross River (11), Delta (11), Kano (5), Ogun (4), Plateau (3), Adamawa (2), and Gombe (1).
Till date, 200,356 cases have been confirmed, 188,917 patients have been discharged and 2,640 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
