COVID-19 Is Real, One Of Our Pastors Almost Died – Kumuyi

The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has said the COVID-19 pandemic is real and one of his pastors almost died of the virus.

“COVID-19 is real and not fake. It is not politically arranged,” Pastor Kumuyi said on Tuesday during a media parley ahead of the Church’s six-day global crusade.

The crusade, tagged, ‘The Great Miracle Explosion,’ would be held at the Deeper Life Conference Centre, Km 42, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.

The cleric while addressing journalists said the virus is not politically arranged as widely believed and noted that the experiences of some members of his church in Nigeria and abroad, showed that the virus is real.

“We had people who had COVID-19 situation and were in isolation. One of our Pastors was in isolation and was about to pass on. According to him, he had said his last prayers. Because in that isolation, he had seen other people dying,” he said.

Pastor Kumuyi also explained that a family in the U.S. contracted the virus after their child got exposed but he prayed for them and they are now fine.

“In America, we have a family, the child went to school, got COVID-19. The father, the mother, the three children making six of them, they all had COVID-19. I prayed for them and by the grace of God, everything was fine.”

The preacher also said, “Just this week in the Democratic Republic of Congo, one of our leaders there was in isolation and it was COVID-19. They called on the phone and I prayed. I got their text yesterday that everything is all right. So, Covid-19 is real but God has a solution for every problem.”

The cleric, therefore, advised everyone to keep to safety rules and precautions.
