The House through a motion raised by Unyime Idem Oruk who represents the Anam/Ukanafun federal constituency of Akwa-Ibom.

He showed concern over these activities that have negatively affected the economic growth of the region.

The lawmakers are disappointed that some security agencies are being alleged to be involved in the illegal refining of crude.
