Lt Gen Yahaya added that to achieve the desired end state, which is a defeat of the adversary, there is the need to enhance the capacity of officers and soldiers through continuous training. He lamented that the inadequate training of personnel in a joint environment is the major problem affecting successful military operations in the country.

The COAS pledged that the Nigerian Army would at all times remain resilient and committed to defending the integrity of Nigeria through an uncompromising training program. He commended the General Officer Commanding 82 Division, his officers, and soldiers for putting good preparations to ensure a successful workshop.
