Voting In Ekiti Gov Election Free And Fair, So Far – PDP Candidate

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ekiti State governorship election, Otunba Bisi Kolawole has described the ongoing exercise so far as free and fair.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ekiti State governorship election, Otunba Bisi Kolawole has described the ongoing exercise so far as free and fair.

He stated this while fielding questions from journalists after voting at Polling Unit 2 in ward 8, Ojodi, Effon Alaaye Local Government Area.

Kolawole commended INEC for the new technology being used in the election, which according to him, has simplified the process.

He further stated that he is confident that the outcome of the election will be in his favour.

Accreditation and voting commenced at 8:30 am in many parts of Effon Alaaye local government.

Voters defied the wet day as they turned out en mass to exercise their franchise with security agents seen manning patrol in the area.

Many of them who have already voted were seen waiting behind for the outcome, while those yet to vote are on the queue for their turn.
