The House of Representatives is to investigate the circumstances involving the setting ablaze of an oil vessel, alleged to be used for oil theft, by security agencies.
This follows a Motion of Urgent Importance by Honourable Onofiok Luke questioning why it was not preserved for investigative purposes in the prosecution of the matter.

While the House condemned the stealing of the nation’s crude, it is disturbed by the haste with which the vessel was destroyed.
