The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, on Thursday stormed Kwara State which was the latest stop for the party’s presidential campaign. 

At Ilorin the Kwara State Capital, the former Vice President promised that if elected, his administration will set aside $10billion to create employment and boost small and medium scale enterprises to help the employment drive for youths and women in the country.

Atiku also carpeted the ruling APC over insecurity in the country saying Buhari and his ruling party have failed Nigerians in the area of insecurity and economic development.

The campaign had a massive turnout and the Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr Okowa was of the opinion that the turnout was an indication that Nigerians are very hungry and are ready to drive away hunger by ousting the ruling parry and bringing back the PDP.

He assured those present that, “the PDP will win in all six geo-political zone of the country. We will work with the people and rebuild Nigeria.”
