The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has promised to tackle the incessant bandit attacks in southern Kaduna and other parts of the country.

Atiku made the promise during a visit to Southern Kaduna where he met with religious leaders and other stakeholders led by the Founder of Throne Room Ministries in Kafanchan, Apostle Emmanuel Kure.

He was accompanied by his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa; the Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal among other party chieftains.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting held behind closed doors on Monday, the former vice-president also commiserated with the people of Kaura Local Government Area over the recent attacks on Malagum and Sokwong communities where about 37 people were killed.

On his part, the Founder of Throne Room Ministry, Apostle Emmanuel Kure expressed optimism about a peaceful 2023 general elections. He says that the exercise will come with a lot of surprises that will be for the betterment of the country.
