The Deputy National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hajiya Zainab Ibrahim on Saturday distributed relief items and assorted promotional materials to women supporters in Katsina State.
The distribution formed part of her tour in the North-West aimed sensitizing women and youths to canvas for more support for the APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu and other candidates contesting under the APC in the 2023 elections.
Mrs Ibrahim expressed high hope that women in Katsina State have from all indications agreed to vote for the APC across the board and that the party is going to sweep the state.

She urged women and youths to ensure that they vote APC from top to bottom for continuity, even as she promised not to leave them behind by the Tinubu/Shettima-led government after victory.
According to her, President Muhammadu Buhari has done well vis-a-vis the antecedent of Tinubu, Shettima, and other APC candidates.
“We are here in Katsina State to sensitize the women and youths and canvas support for the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu down to all other candidates contesting under the APC,” she added.
“In this tour, we brought relief materials to the women comprising wrappers, soaps, foodstuffs, and promotional materials such as stickers and pamphlets which were done in Hausa in order to capture and remind them to vote for the APC.
“We are very hopeful that Katsina is APC from all indications; all the women have agreed to vote for the APC across the board.
“This is because President Muhammadu Buhari has done so well and they know the antecedent of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima as well as the Katsina governorship candidate Dikko Umaru Radda.
“We believed that we are going to sweep Katsina clean and Katsina is going to be won by the APC. The level of preparedness is absolutely high in the North.
“Over 10 million lives have been touched by the APC-led administration under President Muhammadu Buhari in the last seven years.
“Conditional Cash Transfer, N-Power, Tradermoni, Market Moni, and farmer money among other social intervention programs,” she recalled.
