Atiku’s Presidency Will End Insecurity, Katsina PDP Guber Candidate Tells Supporters

He claims the APC has failed Nigerians.

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State, Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke says if the party is elected both at the state and federal levels, insecurity will end.

Nigeria is battling banditry, secessionist agitations, kidnapping, and other crimes but during the flag-off of his campaign at the Headquarters of the Funtua Local Government Area of the State, the PDP chieftain says if he and the party’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar are elected, the situation will change for the better.

“I want to assure you that, if the former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar becomes the president on the platform of the PDP and I become the Katsina State governor, security challenges in the country would end,” he told the teeming crowd.

“The only political party to be elected should be the PDP because PDP in its 16 years in power from 1999 to 2015, brought a lot of development.”

During the rally attended by a mammoth crowd of supporters at the Aya Primary School, he promised to set up people’s friendly government that will put smiles on the faces of Katsina residents if elected.

The PDP flagbearer, however, charged voters to ensure that they vote for PDP candidates from top to bottom and to make sure that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state did not win the election.  He also expressed optimism about winning a free, fair, and credible election.

Earlier in his address, the Director-General of Atiku/Lado Campaign Council and immediate past Secretary to the Katsina State Government, Dr Mustapha Inuwa, urged people of the state to vote wisely.

According to him, judging by the turnout of supporters at the PDP presidential rally in the state and that of the present gubernatorial campaign in Funtua, it was enough and a clear indication that the voters are solely behind the PDP.

“In 51 days to come, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership will come to an end.

“In 51 days, Nigerians will say, ‘Rest In Peace’ APC, because, we’ll put to an end its hunger, banditry, terrorism, and poverty rule,” Inuwa added.

In the meantime, the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Senator Umar Tsauri, commended the supporters for honouring the invitation to the campaign flag-off.

He assured them that they would not be disappointed with the party when elected into power at all levels.
