Memphis Depay Set For Atletico Madrid Move

Spanish football giants, FC Barcelona, and Club Atlético de Madrid have agreed to the transfer of the player Memphis Depay for the fee of 3 million euros plus one million in variables.

This was revealed on the Catalan club’s official website on Friday with the move including a possible purchase option for Belgian winger, Yannick Carrasco.

“FC Barcelona would like to publicly thank Memphis for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future,” it read.

Depay was already spotted in Atletico training on Thursday night, with permission from Barcelona, while the transfer went through.

Despite being plagued by injuries, Depay scored 14 goals and provided 2 assists in 42 appearances while wearing the Barça jersey
