With 11 million hours watched since its debut in May 2022, “Blood Sisters” by EbonyLife, which has an ongoing multi-title deal with Netflix, has been a smash hit for the streamer.

“A Sunday Affair” is an idea that has been circling in my head for almost ten years, according to Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife Media and executive producer. I hope viewers recognize this as an evergreen classic and return to the movie time and time again because I love how rich and multilayered the story is.

“We have had numerous discussions about the complexities of love and whether it is possible to love more than one person and to love them equally”, said Heidi Uys, the creative producer at EbonyLife Media. The phrase “it’s complicated” takes on a new meaning in this movie thanks to these incredible actors.”
