ADC Reps Member Retains Yagba Federal Constituency With Landslide Victory

Abejide emerged victorious in the local governments of Mopamuro, Yagba West, and Yagba East in the constituency.

The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Leke Abejide, has won the House of Representatives election in Yagba Federal Constituency of Kogi State.

Abejide emerged victorious in the local government areas of Mopamuro, Yagba West, and Yagba East in the constituency.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collation officer, Dr. Okpanachi Stephen, declared the results on Sunday at Isanlu, the Federal Constituency’s administrative headquarters.

“Hon. Abejide polled 23,271 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Folorunsho Olafemi who got 10,426 votes,” Stephen said.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Tolorunjuwon Faniyi, finished in third place with 6,421 votes.
