In other games played across the country, Kwara United lost at home to the People’s Elephant of Enyimba while Rangers and Niger Tornadoes ended their game 2-2.
El-Kanemi and 3SC ended in a goalless draw; Plateau United pipped Akwa United by a lone goal.
Away from home Lobi Stars were mauled 3-0 by Bayelsa United just as Doma United beat Wikki Tourists 2-0.
Abia Warriors also defeated Sunshine Stars 2-1.
