The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, has asked that people he might have offended during his tenure forgive him.
The governor, whose tenure will end on May 29, said this on Friday during a Ramadan lecture at Al Furkan Jumaat Mosque in Kano metropolis.
Ganduje argued that, as a good Muslim and in the spirit of Ramadan, he has forgiven those who have wronged him, no matter the weight of the offence.
Similarly, he pleaded for forgiveness from those who he had offended.
The governor is billed to hand over to Abba Kabir Yusuf, who emerged as the governor elect after winning the March 18 election on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
