The 2023 Ebonyi State Elections Petitions Tribunal holding in Abakaliki, the state capital, has been moved to Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The Secretary of the Tribunal, Nyior Sekulla made this known on Wednesday in a statement to journalists in Abakaliki.

The information indicated that the President of the Court of Appeal, Monica Dongban-Mensem, has directed that the Tribunal be relocated to Abuja immediately.

Following this development, Sekulla said the office of the Tribunal located within the headquarters of the state judiciary remained closed from Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

This, he noted, means all petitions will now be attended to at the Tribunal office in Abuja.
