Edo Govt Unveils Sen Daisy Danjuma Women Centre

 

The Edo State Government on Tuesday unveiled the Sen Daisy Danjuma Women Centre in Benin City, the state capital.

Among the dignitaries present at the event are Governor Godwin Obaseki and his wife, Betsy.

The governor said the centre will be a reference point for caring for abused women in the country, expressing optimism that the centre will be a model for female protection in Nigeria.

He also advocated more female inclusion in politics and governance, especially in the legislative arms.
