Saulawa who spoke through the Forum’s Secretary, Aliyu Muhammad, congratulated the governor on his successful completion of an 8-year tenure which he believed has distinguished himself creditably well despite the challenges experienced in various dimensions.

He further appreciated the roles played by Governor Masari in serving the good people of the State to his best abilities.

On his part, Masari charged members of the Forum to embark on a journey of uniting people of the state in the socio-economic, political, and other sectors of development in the state.

“It was during the 2019 elections that most people realized what I achieved because, in the history of political transformation in the state especially from 1999, it was the smoothest second, and third elections of which APC won with over 1.2 million votes which is unprecedented not only in Katsina State but in Nigeria, simply because we brought everyone on board.

“We tried as much as possible to recognize groups, associations, and individuals and give them their due respect through cordial relationships.

“All we are doing, we are paying back to Katsina, so we will not get tired or surrender. I have never had bad intentions for the state or for an individual, please pardon me if I wronged you in one way or the other,” he said.
