The Osun State House of Assembly has made public the names of nominees for commissioners and special advisers.
The Speaker, Adewale Egbedun, read Governor Ademola Adeleke’s letter containing the nominees to members of the House of Assembly at the plenary on Friday.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Olatunde Tiamiyu, made this known in a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
The nominees include Oladosu Babatunde, Bayo Ogungbangbe, Sesan Ephraim Oyedele, Kolapo Alimi, Soji Ajeigbe, Moshood Olalekan Olagunju, George Alabi, and Sunday Olufemi Oroniyi.
Also appointed are Abiodun Bankole Ojo, Basiru Tokunbo Salami, Morufu Ayofe, Sola Ogungbile, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, Mrs Ayo Awolowo, Wole Jimi Bada, Dipo Eluwole, Rasheed Aderibigbe, and Prof. Morufu Ademola Adeleke.

Others are Adeyemo Festus Ademola, Olabiyi Anthony Odunlade, Jola Akintola, Mayowa Adejorin, Mrs Adenike Folashade Adeleke, Tola Faseru, and Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa.
The House of Assembly has also set up an ad hoc committee to conduct a preliminary screening of the nominees before they appear before the House for full screening and confirmation.
Channels Television reported on Tuesday that the governor had submitted a full list of commissioners and special advisers to the Osun State House of Assembly.
This came barely seven months after Adeleke was sworn in on November 27 and over a month after his victory in the July 16, 2022 governorship election was upheld at the Supreme Court.
