Cardi B has disclosed her separation from her husband Offset, expressing her desire for a “new beginning.”
In an Instagram Live session captured by a pop culture account, Pop crave and posted on their X page, the Bongos rapper shared that she has been single for a while and is looking forward to starting afresh in 2024.
Addressing her followers on Sunday night, Cardi B hinted at the breakup, mentioning subtle clues in her live video.
She expressed her excitement about the prospect of a new life and beginning, stating, “I want to start 2024 fresh, open. I don’t know; I’m curious for a new life, a new beginning. Yeah, I’m excited.
“I don’t know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my lives or from my stories when I put certain music or find my unfollowings…
“I’ve been single for a minute now… I just don’t know how to tell the world.”

Offset, a member of Migos, has not publicly commented on the reported split.
The announcement follows a recent denial from Offset in response to rapper Blueface’s accusation of an affair with his ex-partner, according to BBC.

Rumours of the couple’s separation surfaced when they unfollowed each other on Instagram, and the news follows a history of ups and downs in their relationship.
Cardi B and Offset, also known as Belcalis and Kiari Cephus, have experienced previous separations, including a confirmed split in December 2018 and a subsequent reunion.
In September 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce, only to reconcile with Offset later.
The couple shares two children, a daughter named Kulture (six years old) and a son named Wave (two years old).
