The UK Minister for Business and Trade Kemi Badenoch arrived in Nigeria on Sunday for a three-day visit to the country.
Ms Badenoch’s visit, on the heels of the visit of former Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly in August last year, aims to boost UK-Nigeria trade relations and unlock new investment opportunities.

During her visit, she and the prime minister’s trade envoy to Nigeria Helen Grant will meet with the Nigerian Federal Government and state governors, as well as British and Nigerian business leaders and investors.
Anticipating the visit, the British High Commissioner to Nigeria Dr. Richard Montgomery reiterates the importance of the Nigeria-UK partnership and the UK’s support of bilateral investment through the city of London, thereby creating jobs in both countries.
