The stage is set for the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Primary at the tennis court of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the state capital.

Delegates have arrived the venue of the primary led by those from Oredo and Etsako East local Government Areas.

Accreditation for delegates is ongoing at another venue outside the stadium, a total of 594 delegates are expected to participate in the exercise, three ad hoc delegates each from the 192 wards and 18 national delegates, one from each local government.
