VIDEO: Two Chibok Girls Recall Experience, Journey To Recovery 10 Years After Abduction

They spoke at the screening of the documentary 'Statues Also Breathe' in Lagos, South-West, Nigeria.


 

Over 80 kidnapped Chibok Girls are yet to return, ten years after they were abducted from the Government Girls’ Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State by Boko Haram members.

But two of the former hostages, Amina Ali Nkeki, who escaped in 2016, and Jummai Mutah, who was rescued by the government, later called for the government to intensify efforts to release the remaining girls still living in captivity.

They made this call at the screening of the documentary ‘Statues Also Breathe’ in Lagos, South-West, Nigeria.
