The relatives of a 15-year-old boy, Felix Aliyu, who was allegedly killed by his schoolmates at the Nigerian Air Force Secondary School in Kaduna State are demanding justice for the tragic death of their son.

The deceased was until his death, the Assistant head boy of the school located in the Mando area of Kaduna.

He was reported to have been murdered by two outgoing Senior Secondary Students (SS3) in the school dormitory on June 19, 2024.

The students were said to have finished their West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and were waiting to write their National Examination Council (NECO) when the incident happened.

According to a member of the family, Paul Samson, the late Felix was his nephew and an orphan having lost his parents since 2013.

He said that the late Felix was in good health condition when he visited him during the recent Sallah break, and was therefore shocked to hear about the sudden death of his nephew whom he described as a brilliant and disciplined boy.

Samson, however, called on the management of the Nigerian Air Force Secondary School to intensify efforts and unravel the cause of Felix’s death and ensure that those behind it are brought to justice.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Air Force has said that it is investigating the incident to unravel what led to the death of Felix.
