The Sokoto State Government and Senator Aliyu Wamakko have donated N20m and N10m respectively to victims of banditry in the Isa Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Aliyu Ahmed of Sokoto said this on his X handle and said some food items were also donated to the victims.

“I was accompanied by my deputy, Eng. Idris Mohammed Gobir, along with the heads of security agencies and the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, on a visit to Isa Local Government of Sokoto,” he wrote.
“During this visit, I donated 20 million naira, 10 million from Sen. Wamakko, and four trucks of grains to the people of Isa LGA. I assured the entire populace of Isa Local Government that my administration would remain steadfast in its commitment to protecting their lives and properties.”
