Katsina State Acting Governor, Faruk Jobe, has lifted the curfew imposed on the state following the violence that trailed the #EndBadGovernance protests in the North-West state.
The Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Faskari, on Tuesday, said the lifting of the curfew was to enable people to go about their normal businesses.
He urged residents of the state to report any suspicious movement by individuals or groups of people to the relevant authorities.
Katsina was one of the flashpoints of violence during the recent nationwide rallies that escalated just after peaceful demonstrators protested economic hardship and hunger asking the Federal Government to reverse petrol subsidy removal and other measures.
The police in Katsina had announced the arrest of 64 suspected looters and vandalisers in the state following the #EndBadGovernance nationwide protests.
