President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Malabo in Equatorial Guinea for a state visit.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga made this known on Wednesday, stating that the President was recieved by the host country’s Prime Minister Manuela Roka Botey.
“Later President met his host President Teodoro Obiang Nguema at the country’s presidential palace, called the People’s Palace,” he wrote on X.

Earlier on Wednesday, Tinubu departed Abuja for Malabo to honour the invitation of his counterpart in Equatorial Guinea.
Another presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale had said Tinubu would hold meetings with Nguema, and sign agreements on oil and gas and security.
