Actress Adesua Etomi and her husband, singer Banky W, have joyfully announced the birth of their second child, a baby boy.

The couple shared the heartwarming news on Instagram, where Banky W posted a touching video highlighting his active involvement in family life since the arrival of their new son.

The video captures Banky W in various roles around the house, from cooking and cleaning to supporting Adesua in her recovery. “But more importantly than that, I am a husband and a father. We just had our second child who is an amazing young boy,” he said in the video.

Banky W has embraced his new responsibilities with enthusiasm, taking on tasks such as chef, housekeeper, homework helper, and masseuse. He also used the opportunity to advocate for gender equality, emphasising the importance of supporting women’s economic power by sharing household duties. “Partnership is 100-100, not 50-50. That means that in this season, I’ve been a chef, housekeeper, nanny, homework teacher, masseuse, and more all as part of my duty as a supportive husband and present father of two. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier,” he wrote in the post’s caption.

Adesua Etomi, in the comments section, expressed her deep appreciation for her husband, calling him the best partner in the world. “Nobody else I’d rather be doing this life with. Love you, Bubba,” she wrote.

Just two weeks prior, the couple had announced they were expecting their second child. In a joint Instagram post, they shared Adesua’s maternity photos, reflecting on their journey from being a couple to becoming parents of two. Adesua also shared a stunning maternity shoot, joking that if acting doesn’t work out, she could always pursue a career in modelling.
