Nigeria on Monday and three others have gone live on the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) e-certificate. 

The e-certificate is for easy movement of goods from the originating country to the receiving nation.

Officials say the initiative will facilitate straight speed up the time of confirmation at the borders and eliminate fraudulent activities at the border.

Other ECOWAS countries are expected to sign onto the platform from 2025.
